A flat race. Some of the troopers mill around officers in mufti - one may be Lieutenant-Colonel Lord Decies, commanding the regiment. A 'reveille race' involves men leaving a tent, saddling their horses and riding off. A sprint on foot. A tent-pegging contest with lances. A final view of the spectators.
